The Wollemi Pine is one of the world’s oldest and rarest trees. A conifer of the Araucariaceae family, it is believed to be up to 200 million years old. It is often referred to as the "Jurassic Pine" as it is understood to have existed at the same time as the dinosaurs.

It was discovered by chance in September 1994 by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Officer David Noble while abseiling with friends in a remote gorge within the Wollemi National Park in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney.

When you order your Wollemi Pine, you will receive an authentication/gift certificate and care booklet. The trees are available in, 150mm $59 with heights upwards of 40 cm.

The Wollemi Pine makes a great feature tree for large gardens and parks and is also suitable for patios and indoors.

Every tree sold returns a royalty to fund the conservation of Wollemi Pines in the wild and other rare and threatened plant species.
